Rachel (Naomi Watts) is back in a follow up to the hit horror film "The Ring." It picks up six months later in Seattle after the abhorrent events that terrorized Rachel and her son Aidan (David Dorfman, also from the first film). To escape their haunting memories, Rachel and Aidan hope to get a fresh start by moving to a small coastal community in Oregon. Hope quickly turns to terror when evidence at a local crime scene, including an unmarked videotape, seems uncomfortably familiar. Rachel realizes that the vengeful Samara (Kelly Stables) is back, bent on a relentless cycle of terror and death.
