A film crew, along with a group of extreme sports stars and a jerk Hollywood producer, travel to the Yugoslav border to shoot a commercial. When they get to the location they discover terrorists. They escape from the terrorists and the terrorists get mad; bad guys lose, good guys win. Movie is over and you are in tears for wasting your good money on the most awful film made in a long time.

From the previews it appeared as if this movie was going to be an intense and thrilling action flick, using extreme sports the same way XXX did. Yet this is the biggest case of a misleading trailer since…who knows? At first I thought this could be an interesting picture. Devon Sawa is an good actor, he was the main character in Final Destination, and Rufus Sewell always seems to be good in not so good movies (for example, Bless the Child) and he's true to form here with a good performance. Then I thought to myself maybe with good special effects, good writing and great action - this movie could be very entertaining. I have never been more wrong.

This was the worst movie I have seen in years! Imagine an opening scene where someone falls out of a boat in what is supposed to be an adrenaline pumping action scene. Then imagine this was someone talking on a cell phone while facing downward in a small boat, hanging off the side of a waterfall while filming a commercial. Is this person really that stupid to be talking on a cell phone? Now imagine that most of the movie revolves around pointless action like this. The script could have better writing if a four-year-old wrote it?

It gets worse - the special effects are astonishingly bad. In some scenes, the extreme sports crew is skiing down a mountain that looks entirely done with a blue screen behind the actors; and the person skiing doesn't even look like they are moving. I've seen better production in b-movies to tell you the truth. The action in this movie is brainless and boring.

Then there are the terrorists in the film. All we know is that the leader is a horrible man who lied about his death in a plane crash. Then we learn they are planning mass destruction. That is all we know about them - Oh, and I almost forgot - the terrorists are incredibly stupid.

Another addition to this film's fault list is the ending. This has got to be the most abrupt ending I have ever seen in a movie. Not only the stupidest and most pitiful ending I have ever seen…it doesn't even make sense. Yet ironically, the ending of the film was the highlight of the entire film in two ways - first, it meant the film was almost over and second, the entire audience began to laugh and stand up before the credits even began to roll - now that was entertaining.

Don't be confused by the cast of this film. Don't be confused by the previews for this film. Don't be confused into listening to someone tell you that this was a good film. This was worse than The Adventures of Pluto Nash. This is the perfect example of Hollywood at its lowest. After seeing films like this, I begin to hypothesize that Hollywood may have a conspiracy on its hands. The conspiracy goes as follows: pick the worst script possible; film it on a low budget, even though it could use a little larger one. Pick some decent actors to star in this vehicle; release it on a huge release day (for example, Thanksgiving Weekend!) and see if the movie makes a lot of money. If the movie is successful, Hollywood learns that it can always make horrible movies and still make money! If the movie is not successful, they probably will continue to release occasional garbage to see if America's audience is really `'that'' gullible. I understand my theory may be disagreeable but after seeing a film like this I am utterly confused and lost. Save yourself and warn everyone you know to not see this movie. Extreme garbage - enough said.
