I would have to say that my love affair with movies started when I was real young, going to movies with my father at the old Park Forest Theater, in suburban Chicago, Illinois. Currently, that theater is a second run movie house with about five smaller screens, but I remember when there was one, no more than two, enormous screens. I would sit there with my father and watch "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Star Wars" & "E.T."

It's because of those times that I view myself not as a movie critic so much as a moviegoer, & movies not as art, but as entertainment. It's my hope that my reviews give you an idea as to how to spend your hard-earned entertainment dollar.
