Keep in mind that for many art films, they play for limited runs of generally a week. By knowing about the film before the Friday it is first in theaters, the likelihood of you being able to see and support the film is higher without having to turn your life upside down. </div> <bR> <div> While we have no qualms with Hollywood films, we feel strongly that there be a positive choices in addition to them. As with all films, the box office rules and <B>the first week rules the box office.</B> If a film does well the first week, the studio is willing to put advertising dollars to support a longer run. The theater owner is willing to extend the run or bring it back in the first possible opening.
